Day 1 :

Day 1 - ARRIVAL PARO - THIMPHU

Meet & Greet on arrival at Paro Airport and transfer to Thimphu (7,710 ft.) the capital city of Bhutan. On arrival check in at the hotel. Evening explore the Thimphu town by walk. Overnight stay at Thimphu.

Day 2 :

Day 2 - THIMPHU SIGHTSEEING

After breakfast visit Kuensel Phodrang (Buddha Statue) a place for refreshing with a huge statue of Buddha on the top of the Kuensel Phodrang, National Memorial Chorten (Monument) & Folk Heritage Museum. Afternoon visit Sangaygang View Point, Changangkha Monastery and Takin Preserve Centre, the national animal of Bhutan can be seen here. Later visit Tashichho Dzong (Fortress of the Glorious Religion). Overnight stay at Thimphu.

Day 3 :

Day 3 - THIMPHU - PARO

After breakfast transfer to Paro(7483 ft.). On the way visit the Tachog Lhakhang – It is situated between Thimphu and Paro and it was built in the 13th century by Thangtong Gyalpo. He is also known as the Iron bridge builder. Situated on a hilltop, we have to cross an ancient style bridge to reach the temple. On arrival in Paro, check in at the hotel. Afternoon visit Ta Dzong - National Museum with an excellent collection of arts, relics, religious thangkha, etc. Rinpung Dzong - Meaning "fortress of the heap of jewels". The dzong now serves as the administrative and judicial seat of Paro. Overnight stay at Paro.

Day 4 :

Day 4 - PARO SIGHTSEEING

After breakfast hike to the famous Taktsang Monastery - called “Tiger’s Nest” (2hrs hike from the base camp). Later visit DrukgyelDzong & Kyichu Monastery. Overnight stay at Paro.

Day 5 :

Day 5 - PARO - DEPARTURE

After breakfast check out from hotel and drop at Paro Airport for your onward journey.

1) What is the best time to visit Bhutan?

The best time to visit Bhutan is during the months of March to May and then September to November. During these months, weather is pleasant and several festivals are celebrated in Bhutan that add to the vacation delight. However, tourists can also visit this Himalayan country apart from these months and save money as well as escape tourist crowd.

2) Do I need a visa to visit Bhutan?

No, Indian citizens do not need a visa to visit Bhutan. But you need an ‘Entry Permit’ that gives you access to Paro and Thimphu and is issued by the Bhutanese Immigration Office’s outpost at the border crossings. To go beyond these two cities, you need a ‘Special Area Permit’ from the immigration office in Thimphu. Do carry a photo id and a photocopy of your passport along with two latest photos.

3) How many days can Indians stay in Bhutan?

The ‘Entry Permit’ obtained at the border is valid for 7 days. If you wish to extend your stay beyond 7 days, you must get it extended at the immigration office in Thimphu.

4) What is the currency of Bhutan?

Ngultrum (Nu, BTN) is the official currency of Bhutan. 1 Ngultrum is equal to 1 Indian Rupee.

. Visitors can’t purchase Ngultrum before arriving in Bhutan. So they should exchange their currency once they are in Bhutan. US dollars, Euros, and sterling can be easily changed for Ngultrum at local banks. The credit and debit cards are rarely accepted at the shops, hotels, and restaurants.

5) Is it safe to drink tap water in Bhutan?

No, tap water is not considered safe to drink in Bhutan. Therefore, drinking bottled mineral water is strongly suggested to steer clear of any local infections.

6) Can I use Indian rupees in Bhutan?

Small denomination Indian currency, below 500 INR, is also accepted as legal tender in Bhutan. It is recommended to use the local currency, Ngultrum, for any transactions above BTN 500.

7) What is the language of Bhutan?

Dzongkha is the national language of Bhutan. Overall, there are around two dozen languages spoken in Bhutan, which also includes Nepali.

8) What should tourists wear while visiting religious places in Bhutan?

Tourists should wear full/half sleeve collared shirt, full length pants/skirts, and shoes with socks. Travelers are not allowed to enter these places if they are wearing caps/hats, short skit/shorts, tees, and flip-flops/slippers.

➢ Airlines/Room up-gradation and complimentary will not be entertained during the tour unless if specified at the time of booking.

➢ There is no refund for any services not utilized during the tour.

➢ Guests are advised not to keep valuables in the coach/vehicle while sightseeing. The Company shall not be responsible for loss of valuables from the coach / vehicle. If the coach / vehicle is accidentally or otherwise damaged by the Guest, s/he will be required to pay compensation for the same.

➢ The above price is valid for travel till 30thJune, 2020.

➢ Night supplement will be added in early morning or late night arrival transfers

➢ Surcharges may be applicable on the entire package, depending upon the final date of travel

➢ Confirmation of Hotels and other services is subject to availability

➢ Domestic hotel check in is 1400 hrs and checkout would be 1200 hrs

➢ Early check in and late check-out subject to availability. Itineraries are subject to change

Further daily they updated where to go & before time coming in Hotel to pick up. Flexible in timing. Good direction for Indian food. Thankyou for the trip you planned. It was really amazing and totally comfortable for our parents. The drivers guided us well and they were friendly and humble.
